MOREL is currently being fostered in Toronto.
🐾 Meet Morel ✨ Tall, slim, and blonde
Morel has been in foster care for a full year—and today, she stands as the last of the 17 dogs rescued after being abandoned at the side of a rural road. Her transformation is nothing short of extraordinary.
From feral and frightened to curious, resilient, and ready for love, Morel has come so far. 💛
Take a moment to watch this video and witness her journey. It’s a beautiful reminder of why we rescue—and why every dog deserves a second chance.
📹 Facebook - Come and see how I've changed!
Morel is a stunning 10 lb girl, around 3–4 years old, rescued from a group of 17 dogs in rural Ontario. She’s full of quiet resilience and is now ready to find a patient, loving forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive.
A Spirit for the Outdoors 🌿 Morel loves to run and explore and feels most at ease surrounded by nature. She’s still cautious in new environments and gravitates toward women and calm, confident female dogs. She currently lives with two male dogs whom she mostly ignores. However, she’s not comfortable around small dogs or puppies and can be reactive toward them.
Personality in Progress 💛 Not quite a lap dog (yet), Morel is learning to trust at her own pace. Independent and spirited, she’ll flourish with someone who respects her space and celebrates her growth.
Medical & Care Notes 🩺
Training & Habits 🚗🐾 Morel is great in the car and usually naps during rides. She’s making steady progress with leash walking and potty training, especially with regular breaks or pad access. Crate training is slow — wire crates are a no-go due to past trauma, but she’s warming to large plastic or wooden ones. She has a strong bark when she’s excited or uncertain, though it took four months to hear her first bark — she’s still learning her voice.
What She Needs 🛏️ Morel is looking for a patient, dog-savvy person or family who understands her boundaries, sees her unique spirit, and is willing to earn her trust. She’s endured so much — and yet she continues to open her heart.
Morel has been Rescued once. Ready to rise again — with you by her side.🐾❤️

ELLANA is currently being fostered in Maple, ON.
🐾 Meet Ellana – Our Waddling Wonder with a Snaggle-Tooth Smile
Ellana is approximately 5–6 years young and weighs 12.5 pounds. She’s a quirky, lovable Pomchi with a snaggle tooth, a soft coat, and a waddle that’ll melt your heart. Her personality is a delightful mix of silly, sweet, and a little bit spicy—she keeps us laughing every day.
🔥 A Survivor’s Story Ellana was rescued from ACS after landing on the euthanasia list. Before that, she survived a hoarding situation where the home caught fire, and animal control intervened. She’s been through a lot, but she’s come out the other side with resilience and heart.
🩺 Medical Notes Ellana had a large cancerous mammary mass removed, and she’s doing well post-surgery. She also has a rare little “tick”—occasionally, she makes a fish-like mouth movement. It’s infrequent, doesn’t bother her, and may be neurological or stress-related. The vet saw no cause for concern.
👀 Personality & Behavior Ellana takes a day or two to warm up to new people. She may bark or give the side-eye, but she’s not aggressive. If cornered, she might nip, so we’re looking for a home without children. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly affectionate—by lunchtime, she’ll likely be in your lap.
🐶 Social Butterfly with Boundaries She gets along well with cats and dogs, though she’s a bit of a “mama bear.” She’ll break up rough play, set boundaries, and let everyone know when it’s nap time. She’s confident, playful, and loves her furry friends—but she’s also the boss.
🛁 Care & Handling Ellana does great at the vet, and she’s fine with baths and nail trims. She’s protective of her people around strangers but warms up quickly once she knows they’re safe.
🏡 Ready for Her Real Home Ellana is soft, attentive, and truly listens when you talk to her. She deserves a home where she can be understood, loved, and appreciated for the unique gem she is.
Ellana needs a family because every mama bear deserves a place to rest her heart. 💫🐾❤️

SOPHIA is currently being fostered in Milton, ON
Meet Sophia — the little girl who has come such a long way since arriving at her foster home. This sweet pup started out scared of every sound, movement, person, and animal… but with patience and love, she’s slowly discovering the world isn’t so scary after all. 🐾❤️
Sophia loves following the resident dog around and has even started sneaking up to the cat for a curious sniff. Her crate is still her safe space, and she’ll pop in and out throughout the day whenever she feels overwhelmed or wants a cozy nap. And when she naps, she really commits — burrowed deep into her blanket until she disappears completely. Say “Where’s Sophie?” and she comes running out with her tail wagging like she’s playing hide-and-seek.
She greets her foster with squeals, squeaks, and pure joy. She can be a bit nippy when excited, but it’s gentle and easily redirected. She’s also a great eater and has mastered potty training — outside when she can, or a pee pad if needed.
Leash walking is still a work in progress. With the cold and snow, she hasn’t had enough chances to build confidence outside yet.
One very important note:
Sophia has a deep, genuine fear of men. No matter how gentle or patient her foster dad has been, she remains terrified. For her emotional safety and continued progress, Sophia must be adopted into a women-only household. This is non-negotiable, as male presence causes her significant stress and regression.
At night, Sophie sleeps soundly in her crate, but she’d also be thrilled to snuggle beside her person in bed. In the evenings, she loves curling up against you on the couch. She’s not a barker, but she has the cutest little squeaks when she’s excited — and a soft morning whine when she hears you get up.
Sophia needs someone who will give her time, reassurance, and space to bloom. She bonds deeply to her person and warms up quickly to other pets. With patience and love, she’ll grow into the sweetest, snugglest, and most playful companion. 🐾❤️
Whoever adopts this girl will gain a truly special, deeply loyal friend. 🐾❤️

LOLO is currently being fostered in Toronto, ON.
💌 Meet LoLo! 🐾 A sassy senior
At 12 years young and a slender 10 pounds, LoLo still has plenty of pep in her step — and even more love to give! She adores her daily walks, cozy naps, and cuddles on the couch.
LoLo came into rescue as an owner surrender in Texas. Though she was described as shy at first, she’s blossomed in her foster home, revealing a gentle, affectionate personality that charms everyone she meets.
This quiet little lady gets along beautifully with calm dogs, cats, and people alike. She’s been an absolute dream to care for — easygoing, sweet, and full of love. LoLo greets her humans with soft kisses and happy tail wags every time they come home.
Recently, LoLo recovered from surgery after eating something she shouldn’t, so her forever family will need to keep their home “puppy-proof.” Her foster finds she only chews on things she shouldn’t when left alone, so a crate while away is highly recommended.
LoLo would be the perfect companion for someone looking to share life’s simple joys with a calm, loving friend who just wants to be by your side.

JOY is currently being fostered in Bowmanville, ON
🐾 Meet Joy – A Little Dog with a Big Heart
📍 10 months old | 21 lbs | Chi/Pug mix (best guess)
💛 Looking for an experienced adopter or foster familiar with special needs dogs
Joy is a short, sturdy little gal with a big heart and an even bigger need for a special someone. She was born with hydrocephalus, and while her case is fairly severe, she’s defied the odds with her gentle spirit and loving nature.
She’s incredibly quiet—never makes a peep—and absolutely adores people and affection. Joy gets along well with other dogs, rides nicely in the car, and is even learning to use the doggy door (she’s about 50% there!). Like many hydro pups, she’s a slow learner, but she’s making steady progress every day.
Joy doesn’t spin in circles or have seizures, and aside from some depth perception challenges typical of neuro dogs, she has no major neurological issues. She’s sweet, silly, and full of potential for the right person who can offer her the patience and love she deserves.
We’re looking for a special needs adopter —ideally someone who has experience with hydro dogs and understands their unique care. Joy is truly a wonderful dog who will bring so much love and light into your life.
✨ Joy: a gentle soul with a silly streak, ready to bring sunshine to a special someone’s world.

MARCO is currently being fostered in Markham, ON.
🐾 Meet Marco – A Gentle Soul with a Unique Smile
📍 Approx. 5–8 months old | 17 lbs | Purebred Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) 🎯 Estimated adult weight: 40–50 lbs
Marco is a stunning young Blue Heeler with a heart as beautiful as his unique face. Born with a bilateral cleft lip, Marco may look a little different, but this birth defect doesn’t slow him down one bit. He eats just like any other dog—he just needs a little extra dental care to keep food and debris from getting stuck in that area. It’s important to note this is not a cleft palate, and he can enjoy all types of food without issue.
Sweet, gentle, and full of love
Marco is a cuddle-loving, affectionate boy. He can be shy when meeting new people or experiencing new places, but once he feels safe, he turns into the sweetest little love bug. With patience, positive training, and lots of encouragement, Marco will blossom into the loyal, snuggly companion he was born to be
Dog-friendly + social
Marco LOVES other dogs and makes furry friends easily. He’s friendly, loving, and always eager to play.
Potty Training Progress
He may do a bit of nervous peeing right now, but he’s already improving! When he needs to go, he’ll head to the door. He adores the outdoors and loves to run, explore, and play.
A fenced yard would be a dream for him — perfect for fetch, zoomies, and giving him a safe space to call his own.
A soul full of love
Marco has a huge heart, a beautiful spirit, and so much affection to give. He just wants someone to cuddle, trust, and adore forever.
✨ Marco: a nervous nelly with a heart of gold, waiting for someone to see past the shy and love him for the gem he truly is.

TABITHA AND TINK are currently being fostered in Tillsonburgh, ON.
🌟 Meet Tabitha & Tink – The Cheeseburger Sisters! 🍔💜
Tabitha (10 years, 7.8 lbs) is a pointy‑eared Chihuahua with a big love for cheeseburgers and a heart that’s just as big. She’s a little on the thin side, but with TLC (and the occasional burger treat), she’s filling out beautifully.
Tink (8 years, 6.8 lbs) is a scruffy Chihuahua‑Terrier mix with the cutest terrier whiskers. She’s never known life without Tabitha, and the two are inseparable—true sisters at heart.
✨ Their Story These girls weren’t well cared for before coming to us, but their best chapter is just beginning. Both have had dentals and blood work, and they’re doing well for their age. They’re picky eaters (hot dogs and cheeseburgers are their guilty pleasures), but with patience and routine, they’re thriving.
✨ Their Needs
✨ Why You’ll Love Them Tabitha and Tink are typical Chihuahuas: loyal, spirited, and endlessly entertaining. They’ll bring joy, laughter, and companionship to the right home. They’ve captured our hearts, and we know they’ll capture yours too.
💜 These girls need YOU to give them the forever home they deserve. Could you be the one to write their happy ending?

PEANUT is currently being fostered in Delhi. ON
Meet Peanut — Queen of Her Castle
Peanut is an adorable 8–10-year-old, 10-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a big story. She came to us as a stray, underweight and unsure, but with time, patience, and lots of love, she’s learned to trust again. This girl is seriously food-motivated — she’s up from 8 to 10 pounds now! — and because she has only a few teeth left after her dental, she prefers home-cooked meals over traditional dog food. (We’re pretty sure it’s a habit from her street-scrap days.)
Peanut has her quirks, but they make her who she is. She sometimes snacks right away or saves her food for later. She LOVES her morning and bedtime treats. She’s pee-pad trained (though her aim isn’t always perfect ) and will also go outside — as long as you go with her.
She is shy at first and needs plenty of time, patience, consistency, and a predictable routine to feel safe. Peanut has “stranger danger,” is nervous with unfamiliar people, and can be protective of her home. She’s wonderful with the dogs she lives with but not a fan of visiting dogs or guests, so she may need to be penned or crated when company comes over. No children, and no apartments — she takes her job as castle guard very seriously and has the protective barking to prove it.
When being picked up, she may yelp at first due to past trauma, but with gentle handling (we use a three-piece harness), she settles and learns to trust. Once she bonds with you, though… she’s pure magic. Peanut dances for her people, wags her tail nonstop, follows you around the house, and gives the best cuddles and snuggles — especially in bed.
She loves car rides, enjoys her walks, and fun fact: walking is the one time she doesn’t bark at people or other dogs.
Peanut needs her happily-ever-after. She’ll be a bit of work in the beginning, but the reward is immeasurable. If you have a soft voice, a loving heart, and the patience to help her shine, she’ll give you loyalty, love, and joy in return.
