TULIP is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario
Meet Tulip. 🌷 A tiny girl with a huge, indomitable spirit — and now the best news she could possibly receive.
After six weeks of healing from surgery to repair her fractured tibia, Tulip’s leg has healed beautifully, and she is officially ready for her furever home. At about nine months old and fully grown at 10 lbs, she is a cuddly, spunky little pup who loves people, playtime, and being wherever her humans are. Rescued from a hoarding situation in Texas, Tulip has blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion with a spark that’s impossible to resist.
Tulip’s medical journey has been remarkable. Her tibia fracture required orthopedic surgery with pins to stabilize the bone, but she now has full range of motion, excellent flexibility, and no expected long‑term limitations. Her new vet should continue to monitor her leg, but she is ready to enjoy life as a silly, active puppy again.
Before her injury, Tulip could spend a couple of hours alone in a puppy‑proofed space. After six weeks of crate rest, she has become accustomed to having her people close by and definitely has a bit of FOMO. Her new family will need to gently rebuild her independence through crate training. She is a quick learner who had been working on leash manners, Halti training, and potty routines. Those routines will need to be re‑established, but she is smart, eager, and motivated.
Tulip does well with dog‑savvy pets, including cats, and with kids. She doesn’t appreciate being pushed around and will stand up for herself. During recovery, she developed some resource guarding around her crate and may bark when other animals pass by. Feeding her separately and continuing to work on this will be important. Outside her crate, she is much more relaxed. She can bark when frustrated about being crated or left alone, so a non‑apartment home is best. Her foster family believes many of these behaviours were amplified by restricted activity and frustration, and with normal exercise, patience, and training, she is expected to settle beautifully.
Tulip has been through so much — and now she’s ready for the fun part of her life. 🌷❤️

LOTUS is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario.
Meet Lotus (Lolo)!
- Just looking for love
At 10 years young and just 7.5 pounds, Lotus—affectionately known as Lolo—is a tiny sweetheart with a big personality. With her short legs and long body, we think she may be a Chiweenie mix, although she certainly has plenty of Chihuahua charm!
Lolo came into rescue through no fault of her own when her loving owner could no longer afford the treatment she needed for seizures. Thanks to proper veterinary care, she is now stable and thriving. She will need lifelong medication, which she happily takes tucked inside a tiny pill pocket. Aside from her well-managed seizures and some mild age-related vision changes, she's in wonderful health. She has also had a dental, been spayed, and had a benign mammary tumour removed.
Lolo is equal parts sweet and sassy! She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and is good with respectful children, though her tiny size makes her better suited to a home without very young kids. She hasn't been tested with cats.
This little lady loves life! She enjoys zoomies, playing fetch with soft toys, and proudly removing every squeaker and bit of stuffing she can find. When playtime is over, she's happiest curled up in your lap giving kisses or snuggled under the blankets beside you at bedtime.
Lotus loves sunny days, leisurely walks filled with lots of sniffing, and spending time outdoors. She has good emerging leash manners and is fully house-trained in her foster home, using either the yard or pee pads. Like many dogs, she may need a little patience while adjusting to a new home, but she's a quick learner.
Lolo can be vocal when she hears noises or visitors arrive—not because she's unfriendly, but because she'd much rather be picked up for cuddles! Because of this, a detached home would likely suit her better than an apartment or townhouse.
If you're looking for a loving little companion with plenty of personality, Lotus is ready to fill your home—and your lap—with love.

POSSIE is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario.
Meet Possie (aka Ozzie!) A fluffy goofball with main‑character energy**
Ozzie is a 12.5 lb, 6–8‑year‑old Pomeranian with a big heart, a big personality, and a hilarious, lovable streak that makes him unforgettable. He’s full of life — he loves fetch, park time, zoomies, and being right in the middle of whatever’s happening. Smart, sensitive, and deeply bonded to his person, Ozzie thrives with routine, structure, and a calm home where he can feel secure.
He can be overwhelmed by noise and new people, so slow introductions and consistency help him settle beautifully. Once he trusts you, he’s loyal, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy. A quiet, adult‑only home or one with older, dog‑savvy kids. He may do well with a calm, confident dog who helps him feel grounded.
Care Needs
• Special diet
• Daily anxiety medication
• Regular grooming
• Mild collapsed trachea (common in Poms, managed with care)
Ozzie is:
✔ Good with dogs & cats
✔ House trained
✔ Great on leash
✔ Medium energy
✔ Travels well
⚠️ Vocal & needs slow intros to new people
Ozzie is loyal, funny, expressive, and full of personality — a dog who will make you laugh daily and love you fiercely. He’s not the right fit for everyone, but for the person who understands him, he’s absolutely everything.

ELLANA is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario.
✨ Meet Ellana – The Resilient Snaggle‑Tooth Queen
At 5–6 years old and just 16 pounds, Ellana is a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix with a big personality in a tiny, fluffy body. A survivor of a house fire/hoarding situation and once on the euthanasia list, she’s been through more than most—but she’s come out the other side with her spark intact… and a healthy sense of knowing what she likes.
Ellana is “perfectly imperfect.” With her adorable waddle, signature snaggle tooth, and cloud-soft coat, she turns heads everywhere she goes. She also has a small neurological mouth “tick” (like a fish out of water), which doesn’t bother her at all—it’s just part of her charm. She enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, but prefers a calm, orderly environment where she can play “hall monitor” and keep things from getting too rowdy.
Ellana is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can feel safe and understood. She bonds deeply, but at her own pace—once you’re in her circle, you’re truly her person. She appreciates clear boundaries, doesn’t love being startled or picked up unexpectedly, and may give a little grumble to share her opinion.
Don’t let her mild arthritis fool you—this girl still loves her walks and will happily dance at the sight of a leash.**she will easily take pain meds to help ease the pain, and they are given as needed**She enjoys affection in short bursts and will nudge you when she’s ready for love. She’s also food-motivated and knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “wait.”
Ellana can be a bit of a “fear reactor” if rushed and has nipped when startled, so she needs an adopter committed to going slow and respecting her cues. With patience, she quickly relaxes and shows her sweet, loyal side.
Ellana isn’t difficult—she’s discerning. A little sass, a lot of heart, and so much love to give.
Could you be her person? ![]()

TUESDAY is currently being fostered in Texas.
🐾🐾 Meet Tuesday — a fragile little soul learning what love truly feels like
Tuesday is approximately three years old and weighs just 7 pounds. She is a gentle, scared little girl who has survived a very difficult past. Tuesday came to us from a severe hoarding situation and arrived extremely feral. She wouldn’t look at anyone, kept her head buried in the corner, and shook constantly. She only felt safe enough to eat at night when no one was in the room.
With time, patience, and routine, Tuesday began to warm up. Each day she made small steps forward — eventually going outside, exploring a little, and even playing with other dogs. One of our wonderful fosters took her in, and Tuesday has continued to make steady, heart‑warming progress.
Her foster shares that Tuesday recently jumped onto her lap and allowed gentle petting without freezing, shaking, or flinching — a huge milestone for this little girl. She still barks and runs from her foster dad, and it took about two weeks for her to begin trusting. She now offers excellent eye contact, eats comfortably around the other dogs, and enjoys playing with Demi and Hazel, though she does not like rough play and will growl or snap if overwhelmed.
Potty training is still a work in progress, and Tuesday needs a very safe, secure yard, as she looks for exits and will hide if given the opportunity. In the beginning, she must not have access to places where she can disappear or wedge herself into unsafe spaces. Most importantly, Tuesday is learning that hands don’t hurt her. When someone reaches toward her, she still cowers or flinches, expecting pain — but she is slowly discovering that gentle touch can be safe.
Tuesday is available for adoption or foster‑to‑adopt to an experienced adopter. She requires a very secure fenced yard, no small children, and another social, confident dog to help guide her. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, Tuesday will continue to blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.
🌟 Give Tuesday the safety she’s never known — and watch her learn how to love. 🌟

CULLUM is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario.
Meet Cullum 🖤 A total mama’s boy with a heart of gold 💙
Cullum is a 2–3‑year‑old, 9‑lb sensitive little soul with a huge heart, just waiting for the right person to love. He may be timid at first, but beneath that shy exterior is a deeply loyal companion who bonds hard and loves even harder. Once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have his whole heart forever. ❤️
Cullum is the definition of a “mama’s boy.” When he chooses you, he becomes your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your biggest fan. His happiest place is tucked under the covers, curled up close to his person at the end of the day. Because of his past, Cullum is deeply fearful of men and requires a women‑only, child‑free home. Male visitors are fine, but his caregiver(s) must be women so he can feel safe and thrive.
One thing that brings Cullum pure joy? Other dogs. He absolutely lights up around friendly, playful pups and becomes a goofy, carefree little guy. He must have at least one playful dog in his forever home — a confident canine friend helps him feel secure, happy, and brave.
Cullum has excellent housetraining manners and thrives on routine. He would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and relax. He’s learning to walk nicely on leash, but because he can be easily startled, an escape‑proof harness is essential. He is also crate trained and finds comfort in having a safe, cozy space of his own.
Cullum has been through a lot, but he’s ready to give his heart to someone who understands him. With patience, gentleness, and time, he will reward you with a rare kind of devotion — the kind that only comes from a dog who finally feels safe.
Once Cullum trusts you, he will love you with a depth and loyalty that is truly extraordinary. If you believe in the beauty of helping a fearful dog blossom into the joyful companion he was meant to be, Cullum might just be your perfect match.

MINNIE is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario
Meet Minnie — a tiny senior sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a story of quiet resilience.
Minnie is a petite 8.5‑lb senior girl whose paperwork lists her as seven, though she is most likely closer to ten. She came to us as a stray, terrified, shut down, and missing most of her fur. With time, safety, and steady care, her coat has grown back beautifully, her body has relaxed, and she now greets breakfast with happy tail wags and bright little sparks of joy. She prefers mostly wet food, and her teeth are in good condition for her age.
Minnie will be extremely shy at first and needs patience and space to decompress. She truly loves other dogs — especially calm, older companions — and would thrive in a home with another gentle dog to help her feel secure and show her that humans can be kind. We suspect she endured mistreatment at some point. When she arrived, she spent her time cowering in corners and was terrified to be picked up. She still tenses her body when lifted, but this is improving a little more every day.
She is very much a work in progress. Minnie is not yet comfortable on a leash and harness, and new people, places, and changes overwhelm her. She needs help building confidence and will blossom with a home that offers love, grace, and a slow, steady routine. She may seem a little rough around the edges during her first couple of weeks, but she does warm up. Once she feels safe, she relaxes, offers sweet little tail wags, and reveals a gentle, loving demeanor that is truly precious.
Minnie is a quiet gem — the kind of dog who becomes deeply special to the person willing to give her time, patience, and a soft place to land.

JULIAN is currently being fostered in Southern Ontario
Meet Julian 💙 - Julian is a tiny guy with a heart full of love.
Julian is just 4 years old and 8.5 pounds, After being rescued from a hoarding situation, he’s learning what it means to be safe, cherished, and part of a family. He is a sweet, gentle soul who is slowly finding his confidence, and each day his personality shines a little brighter as he discovers that life can be full of kindness and fun.
Julian absolutely loves running and playing with other dogs. They help him feel secure and bring out his playful side, even though he hasn’t quite figured out toys yet. Watching him experience new things is one of the joys of loving him. Like many dogs who didn’t have the best start, Julian is still learning some basics. He’s working on leash walking, and his potty training is still a work in progress. What he needs most is a patient family that understands progress comes one small victory at a time.
His ideal home is one where he will never have to be left alone. Julian would be happiest with another friendly dog to keep him company, but it isn’t a requirement if someone is home with him and can give him the security he needs. He does well with dog‑friendly kids but is afraid of larger dogs.
If you’re looking for a dog whose trust you’ll earn, whose milestones you’ll celebrate, and whose love will deepen every day, Julian may be the perfect match. His past doesn’t define him — it simply makes every act of kindness mean that much more.
Could you be the person to show Julian that he’s finally home?

JETHRO is currently being fostered in Texas
Meet Jethro — the tiny cuddlebug with a huge heart
Jethro is a 5–8‑month‑old, 7‑lb sweetheart who has quickly become a foster favourite. He’s an absolute cutie‑patootie who loves being held like a baby — snuggly, gentle, and full of quiet affection. He’s a touch shy at first, but not in a way that holds him back; he warms up beautifully and just wants to feel safe and loved.
Jethro came from a terrible hoarding situation, and despite everything he’s been through, he is soft, sweet, and ready for a future filled with kindness. He deserves the world — a family of his own, a cozy home, and all the love he’s been missing.
We believe Bella (13.5 lbs, likely a Min Pin mix) is his mama, and none of the dogs on the property were over 15 lbs. Jethro and Billy Bob are more than likely siblings, and Jethro is the smaller, rounder, baby‑faced one of the bunch.
He is gentle, loving, and wonderfully easy to adore — the kind of pup who will bond deeply and thrive with patience, routine, and affection.
Jethro is ready for his amazing future. If you’re looking for a tiny, tender, endlessly cuddly companion, he’s your boy.

WHISKEY is currently being fostered in Texas
Meet Whiskey — the sweetest little mystery mix with a big heart
Whiskey is approximately 8 months old and currently weighs 25 lbs. He was found as a stray, a bit on the thin side, so he’s enjoying some much‑needed quality food and extra snacks in his foster home — and he’s already thriving.
His foster is working with him on potty training, crate training, and walking on leash and harness. He’s still a baby, so he can be a little whiny in the crate, but he’s doing well and learning quickly.
Whiskey is an all‑around great boy — social, playful, and wonderfully friendly. He loves dogs, cats, and kids, and he’s the kind of pup who just wants to be part of the fun. We expect him to mature around 40 lbs.
With his adorable looks and mixed‑breed charm, he might have husky, lab, or hound in the blend — but whatever he is, he’s 100% sweetheart.
Whiskey is ready for a family who will give him the love, structure, and snacks he deserves. He’s a joyful, affectionate pup who will make a wonderful companion.

TROOPER is currently being fostered in Texas
Meet Trooper — our tiny “mini shepherd” miracle from the oil field
Trooper (affectionately known as Goof Troop) is a 4–8 month old, 7‑lb sweetheart who will grow into a 20–30 lb medium‑sized companion. He’s a goofy, gentle kid with a heart full of love and a personality that wins people over instantly.
He’s very sweet, affectionate, and just a touch shy at first, but he warms up beautifully and thrives with kindness. Trooper is wonderful with other animals and has that soft, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around.
His mama — a 16‑lb chi and while dad is MIA, he sure looks like a shepherd… which makes Trooper our very own “mini shepherd” unicorn. A rare breed indeed. Trooper, his mama, and his sister were found in an oil field, and it is truly a miracle they survived. Today, they are healthy, safe, and thriving, and Trooper is ready for a future filled with love, stability, and family.
He is going to make an amazing family companion — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and brings joy to every day.

SABINA is currently being fostered in Texas
Sabina — a soft‑souled little beauty with the sweetest heart
Sabina is a 4–8 month old, 7‑lb sweetheart with the most gorgeous colouring and striking eyes. Her mama is a 16‑lb chi mix, but dad was clearly a bigger mystery dog — so Sabina will likely grow into a lovely 20–30 lb medium‑sized companion.
She’s a very shy, gentle, and quiet girl who blossoms with patience and kindness. Sabina absolutely loves other dogs, including the tiny senior Chihuahuas in her foster home, and she carries herself with a soft, thoughtful sweetness that makes her incredibly endearing
.
Sabina, her mama, and her brother were found in an oil field, and it’s a miracle they survived. Her brother Trooper looks like a miniature shepherd, so Sabina is definitely a perfect little Heinz 57 — unique, beautiful, and full of heart.
She is an absolutely stunning dog with a soft soul and gentle disposition. Sabina will make a wonderful companion for a patient, loving family who enjoys watching a shy pup come out of her shell and shine.
A gentle heart, a gorgeous face, and a story worth loving — Sabina is ready for her forever.

VINO is currently being fostered in Texas
Meet Vino. - A quiet, gentle little soul who just wants to feel safe and loved.
Vino is approximately 3 years old and 10.7 pounds — shy, sweet, and wonderfully calm. He can be timid at first, but once he feels secure, he warms up and shows his soft, affectionate nature. He thrives in a peaceful home with soft voices, gentle hands, and patient people who understand sensitive pups.
He will make a lovely lap baby. Vino has excellent potty manners here at the rescue and gets along well with other animals, though he’s more of a relaxed companion than a playful one. He’s a sophisticated old soul, an observer of the world, and happiest simply being near his person.
A fenced yard is preferred, as it takes him a little time to adjust to new people and new places. With trust and routine, he will walk comfortably on a leash and harness — usually after a few weeks of bonding with his person.
Vino is a tender, thoughtful boy who just needs the right quiet home to let his sweetness shine.
Vino: tender heart, timeless soul.
